Slow booting

Okay, I have some self-booting games (ex. Metropolis Street Racer) and it boots up quickly, but then once I make a copy of it (with CloneCD) the copy boots up, but it takes about 10 seconds. How can I fix this?

I have had the same problems too!!
I have backpack external burner
and use azo blue tech verbatim cdrs.
It's annoying when it takes time to load.
