Zero Hour 1.01 (cracked) not starting

I've just installed Zero Hour, but when I tried to play the first time (1.0 cracked) I get a "Technical difficulties" message before the game starts, then patched the game to 1.01 and cracked, now the Zero Hour "splash" screen appears for a few seconds then the screen goes black for about one second then I return to the desktop, I've tried with v 1.02 and 1.01 crack but with the same results, what is wrong and/or what is there to do?

damn it, I'd enjoy that game...

btw I have no idea if this is the place to write about things like this, so plz don't yell at me if did/wrote something
