Little confused guys....

I was sjust reading a couple of posts and came across the fact that for a Pal game to not flicker and work properly, it might need a Pal -> NTSC patch. So I tried looking for one.

ANywayz, I went to consolegameingworld, and it seems as though they have patches for alot of games under there patches settings. Are these all Pal -> NTSC patches?

Or, to back those certain games up, we need those patches?

It just through me into a loop because I thought that to backup my games, I just need to make the image and BAMN.

BTW, I still could not find a Pal -> NTSC patch, so if anyone can shoot me a link, it would be immensly appriciated.

THanks

Edit: Just so ya'll know, what I want to do is this. I want to buy a copy of Gran Tourismo 4: Prolouge, but its Jap and Pal. I guess Im onna need to back it up, so that I can patch it right? Those are my plans.

Gran Turismo will probably never have a patch made for it. Its a game thats totally built differently than other games. So regular patches wont work on it.

I recommend you get the Jap version since its already NTSC and usually the jap versions of Gran Turismo have enough english text to get by easily.
