The Gun Slinger
Rise of Nations

I have purchased Rise of Nations and installed the patch to version 1.03. The game plays ok for a while then crashes. It takes a memory dump. I have uninstalled and reinstalled game.
It crashes with and without the patch. I have even tried reinstalling my operating system and playing on a fresh build.
I truly like the game but it is too unstable to play.

Has anybody else experienced these problems?

I think you have got an other Problem...its not the game. Perhaps your Drivers arent up to date...When this doesnt work you should check your Memorychips.....

Hi The Gun Slinger,

I agree with Killer_Cop, I have patched the game to 1.03 and run it with the nocd crack from gcw and it never freezes or crashes!?!
Have you changed any other hardware recently (like power supply, memory etc), if not did you have random crashes before buying this game......a difficult one to troubleshoot this, need more info!?!
Hope we can help.

No problems here running the game.

Assuming this is a retail version of the game I'd guess you either have something set wrong for your video card in the systems Bios\Cmos, unstable Ram, unstable power supply unit, or you have something overclocked thats giving you trouble.

Post your system specs. Give us somewhere to work from. This is perhaps OT - or general gaming material.

There's a number of possibilities as to why this happens.
