mod chips
how much would i expect to pay for a mod chip to play backups UK £'s and will it restrict my ps2 from playing DVD's or original games whats the best chip atm ?

What version ps2 do you have. Let us know the SCPH number in the back of your ps2. That will tell us which modchip will be best for you.
