Will The X2 Bios work with the Chameleon Mod ?
Will the X2 bios work with the chameleon mod ? or do I have to use another kind of bios. Also, what is the point of having a bigger hard drive other than copying games to it ?

Yes, the bios will work.
And maybe a very very large music library, thats about the only other use i can think of.

Dude, I actually think its great having a larger HDD. I used to back up my games on DVDR. That usually took me about 45 minutes to transfer to PC and about 30 minutes to burn at 2x. Now it takes me max of 17 min to directly back up my game to my HDD using DVD2Xbox. I just insert my game in my xbox tray, and copy. My guess is that it copies a game at 4x straight to the HDD. No connecting to the PC anymore for me. Other than for necessary things. Not to mention the hella faster loading times per game. Tyler!
