V9, V10 +?
i am just woundering if all teh newer version ps2's are going to have the ir sensor with the dvd remote?

Yes, v9 and v10 have the extra features(no dvd remote included) That is all you will find in the stores now.

am i wronge in saying v9 and v10s come with a dvd remote? i thought they did.. and i also thought that they had an ir sensor inside. if they dont come with a remote can i use an older one or will i need to buy a new one?

Neither come with a remote. Both have the IR sensor though. The old Sony remotes will work, but you want to get the new one with the power and eject buttons.
