Help!...I need a SVCD player.

I got a svcd burned on a cd and I need to know something to play it with. Preferably a free player.

What you need to use mate is power dvd, just put the disk in the drive and hit play

get Media Player Classic, it's free and works fine with svcd.

Thanks guys.

I downloaded the demo of power dvd last night and it loaded but would not play.

I downloaded Media Player Clasic earlier and it worked perfectly! Nice and high quality, looks better than a regular tv would play it and it is on a 700mb cd.

Glad you are sorted, i use power dvd all the time for svcd, never had any problems, might be that the demo version has that option grayed out.
