x2 4979 repack

~WoMeNlOvEr ... so far ive moddded xboxes with: 2 Matrixes 3 Xbits My xbox!: -250 gig -XBIT -4981.06 x2 -orange led for light, matching beautifully with the orange x in the splash screen -Component cable my problem...solved?!: -one of my friends says he can get about 450 files off it!... and now i havent seen him for about 4 months..and ive written him like 11 emails.. WHERE THE HELL IS HE?! :mad: [B]OWNED! <3 TylerDurden![/B]

I don't know why but I trust Team Xcuter over Team EvoX for BIOSes.
The difference between X2 4979 and X2 4979 repack is: The really messed up on the original X2 4979. Seems 4979.67 was really X2 4979.06. And this screwed every thing up if you had a HDD over 120 GB.

Well other than just the trust issue. Im really asking whats the difference between X2 4979 repack and M7. Any really detailed info is good too. Im just looking for good info.

the 4979.06 is the newer bios, works with only 132 gig and less
the 4979.67 is also the newer bios, works with all sized gigs although the glitch before was the people above 132 gigs used the 06 because it was said to be the 67, and it didnt allow more than 132 to be used, so it got cleared

Yes I know that. Im NOT asking the differences between the the X2 repack and its older version. I AM asking the difference between the Xecuter 2 repack and the Evolution X M7 bios. Tyler!

i suggest goin with the 4979 bios, x2 is never a dissapointment, evox... on the other hannd...... 8)

ok i have the newest version of the xbox teh holiday bundle kit so i am guessing it is a version 5 there is no real good info for the version five out there except that the old x2 bios wont work sith it but i also heard to make the chameleon chip work with the version 5 yuo have to soldier two wire is is that true has any one heard about this the chameleon still stands firm and says it is a no soldier chip for all versions but it doesnt seam to work with mine just wondering if anyone has heard?!?
