problem with gs2 v1.9 + no solder v7

the psx game will load, but ps2 cd and dvd won't load.
Is it because my gs2 version is too old?

u cant use gamesharks on a v7 unit to load games u will need swap magic disk if u had a v6 or older u could use the gs2 but not on a v7 unit cause it has a fix that sony put on it to keep ot form doing that.
