Burning Hordes of the Underdark problems!

I used latest version of Alcohol 120% to make a copy of NWN: Hordes of the Underdark.

Its SecuROM 4.8, so I used VLUKA's GUIDE.

I made an MDF and MDS images with Alcohol 120%, and then I PATCHED the image with TWINPEAK.

But now - when I try to burn it - it says Alcohol 120% cannot burn it because it cannot make a copy using that datatype (Alcoholer > SecuROM 4.8 datatype)

This is gonna sounds wierd. But the "new" SecuROM that everyone's have been talking about, is old. It's refering to SeucROM version 4.84 and 4.85. And that was a time ago. Sony have upgrade the protection to even newer 4.87 or to be specific, version 4.87.03 of SecuROM is used in NWN - HotU. So it can't be backuped. Becuase the old 4.84 was a bite pain, and belive me this can't be backup. So you can't do 1:1 so do just a normal backup and then use Deviance crack releas. Avible at gcw!

What about TWINPEAKS???

I used a TwinPeak on it. I have not tried it yet, don't feel like installing the game.

Twin peaks will not help you. The .exe file is encrypted. That's why CDKiLLER had a pain in the as to fix protection ID. If he got problem with hes protection ID to discover the protection, you can only guess what you get when you trying to backup the game!

But it did work for NWN: Shadows of Undrentide or whatever - worked 100%!

It had SecuROM 4.84 this one have 4.87 like I wrote before.

My 2 cents

I backed this up with BW 4.57, with the typical Securom BWA/Twinpeak read at 8x. Backup installs and plays just fine from a 166S DVD and a 48125W CDRW drive. No emulation, autoplay, daemon tools, etc running to help it along.

I've read the Plex Premium can copy it as well....
