My Dreamcast is dead!!!!

Can anyone help as my dreamcast is dead! It doesn't load up the dreamcast logo anymore and that's even without the cd in it!

Has anyone expereince this problem and if so how did u solve it!

Is it something to do with the laser and if so where can i buy or get it repaired from! Please help I have over 50 games and loads of accesories for this system!

whoa. you in deep shit hehe. just kidding. try going to www.gameconsolerepair.com i used them when my controller ports burned out. great service (fixed ports and mailed em out the same day they got them) and the best prices ive seen. its still gonna cost you, but not as much as sega will charge... if you know its not the laser, (prolly not if the bios wont even load) it will only be 59 but if the lasers messed up, will be 89. if its the controller ports (could be, thats where the bios and battery are) its only 34.99 (you send in your old ones and they fix it and send back, you put in system). good luck with that. talk to the webmaster of gcr and see whats wrong.
