XIII crack, it work?

i cant seem to get the XIII crack to work, and i know theres a bunch of posts about this. Do you have to have the cd in there? cause even with the crack, when im about to play, it says insert cd 2

yes, the fairlight crack requires the cd in to play it it is NOT a no-cd crack

does it play with a backup CD in then drive? Also, has this 'need a magnetic card, buy the game, thing been fixed?

theres 2 cracks

first one - crackfix - the 'magnetic card problem' arises
second one - 'proper crackfix' - all problems fixed, game totally playable

so get the 2nd one, you still need a cd in to play
