Is there any known problems with the samsung drives and PGR ?

Just baught a new xbox and will hopefully be chipping it next week but have one problem all the 5 games i got work fine apart from project gothem it will load up but loads really slowly and sometimes lockes the xbox up cause of not reading the disc properly the game works fine on my mates who has a different drive i think its either the philips or thomson drive i think .

does anyone know of any probs with the samsung drive and project gothem raceing ?

Samsung drives are the best for the xbox. They read media the best (and read cd-r). Also ussually sell for $40 more than the other drives ($120 as apposed to $80). You are very lucky to have it. It could be your drive, but you should change the dvd media your using before you change driveit is probably just the media, which you should change before you change drives. .

sorry forgot to mention that the game is an original it works to a degree but when i try to change colours on the cars it crashes most of the time anyway gona leae it and just chip it if it reads copy's dvd's ok then i have nothing to worry about anyway lol when i get it chioed will see if ripping pgr to the hd then reburning onto a copyed cd sortes it out.
