DVD Games

Hi,

I am having problems booting my DVD-R games. I use Riteks G04 DVD-Rs and they boot rarely for me. However, I tried Piodata DVD-Rs(cheap brand) and the boot perfectly. What's the problem here? What's all the different ways for booting DVD games with a NEO2.5 Modded PS2?

Thanx,
Nino

for booting look in the factoids at top of forum , and as for ur disc just keep to the ones that work well for ur ps2 as all ps2 are picky when it comes down to dvd media . for example allot of people swear by traxdata but i have had nothing but probs with them on 2 of my ps2 , but verbatims have worked 100% on all 3 of my ps2 , same with ritek works great on 2 of my machines but not on the other one so when u find the media that works best for u stick to it

Thanx alot for the help. But I also heard that Labeling DVD-Rs can be another reason why the games don't properly work. Is that in any way true?

Yes it is true. It has been discussed before. Search.
