"""""GypPlayer--------------
"Movie FAQ Zippy350 posted 09-21-2000 07:42 PM
1. Download the GypPlayer and extract it to a temporary directory. 2. Copy the VCD MPEG-1
movies to the temporary directory (see the extensions below). 3. Burn the contents of the
temporary directory to a CD-R - ISO Level 2, Mode 1 (CDROM only, not XA), Joliet filesystem.
4.Bootup the UTOPIA Boot-CD, swap for the CD-R and play the movie! GypPlay automatically
searches the CD (including in subdirectories) for any file with the .MPG, .MPEG or .AVI
extension and plays them one after each other. GypPlay Movie extensions:.mpg (MPEG-1
only).mpeg (MPEG-1 only).dat (MPEG-1 only).avi (no odd codecs!).m1v (MPEG-1 video, no
audio).asf (no odd codecs! MPEG-4/DivX is NOT supported!).sfd (v1.01 SFD format works, but
no audio. Newer SFDs not supported.)"""""

The player can be found on dccopyworld.com or go.to/selfboot

1) download gyplay and unzip it to its own folder.
2) extract the mpegav folder from the vcd and put in the gyplay folder.
3) use ex cd creator (data cd) to burn the gyplay folder in mode 1, joilet filesystem.

enjoy

no coasters here either

Is there a way to play regular VCDs on Dreamcast with out reburning another one? I mean, must I make another copy of the VCD? [adding Gyplay] inorder to play on a DC? Man... What's the point then.... it's too troublesome....

But unless it will not just play on a DC, i mean, if it will play on other VCD Players, that would be different!

So does anyone if I can make a DC playable VCD that will also work for a regular VCD Player?
