SWAT Global Strike Team problems

Has anyone had problems backing this game up?

This is a first for me..when i go to boot the game it loads up no problem but after the main title screen and the initial FMV sequences it goes to the infamous Orange/Red please insert PS2 format disc screen.

Has anyone gotten a backup of this game to work???

Thanks..

Mr.Ricky

I'm using Record Now Max, Memorex DVD Ver 2.0 Media.

I have a Magic 3.6 chip installed on a PS2 that is a year old and I've successfully backed up over 75 of my games and this is the first time this has happened. I even tried using one of my Pioneer DVD-RW which have never failed me in any type of backup I've tried and I had the same problem.

Boots up no problem, get the initial load screen, goes through the whole opening FMV sequence then it I get the red screen of death.

Its weird....I've seen the disc not boot up at all when you get the red screen...but to actually have it but up then shoot to the red screen... never seen that problem before.

Do you have a v7 by any chance? It sounds like a v7 protected game, which the Magic 3.6 can't get by.
