If you are from the uk there is a good chance your tv might only run 50 hrt games (pal)
if you get uk back ups or if the back up has had a pal fix they sould be fine, I have be the same problem and i had to buy a new tv but it might be worth trying a scart lead. or if you have a cd copyer back up the game but add a (pal fix) you can find them on dc copy world along with the ppf o matic to add the patches
