PLAY SELFBOOTABLE GAME IN JAPANESE DC

I want to play my DC game in my japanese dreamcast but it doesn't work. the games are selfbootable. What can I do ?

not too certain but you can probably patch the original file image with one of those programs that changes nstc to pal possibly has something to do with the format the japanese vers. was meant to read and if you are using an american game image on it that would make sense. If this is the case you should check out this sites patch section. Hope i could help you.
