Soldering question

Got a quick question.

What is the best way to solder the "gold" pads on the PS2
board?

Thanks in advance!

Use a fiberglass brush/pen to brush the laquer off the pad then use a touch of flux and just touch it with solder.

Tyler!

I couldn't locate a fiberglass pen/brush back when I was doing installs. So I just used the corner of a razor blade to carefully scrape the laquer off the pads.

Worked great.
