how possible is linking a gdrom to a stadard ide interface?
of course i mean standard ide!!!
any body know of such a project ? anybody tried it ? anybody got any info that might help me acheive this??? anybody know of a reason why this would/nt work ?? reply here if u can help cheers G

In the first place GDRom reader is a scsi device.
To get it to work you would need to get the o/s to understand what the hell it is which means writing a device driver for it. You would also need to write a program to read a GDRom disc and also one to burn the image. Lastly you need to break into Sega and steal some blanks as they are not commercially available. |
