Conflict Desert Storm II mouse prob

In all my FPS games I can assign mouse button 2 for run/forward which is very comfortable for me but I can't get CDS2 to allow this. Is this part of the keyboard problems this game was having? Any ideas? TIA

This is off topic.

Read the sticky labeled "Sticky: The Official Board Rules. Read it or get banned. "

Which forum would this be more appropriate for? I read the sticky and don't see how this is OT. Could you explain for a dummy like me. Thanks

This is a forum for discussing pc-game cracks. OT can be discussed here as long as it starts with "OT" in the title.

Standing back, I dont see how newcomers would know this forum labeled 'PC Games' is for discussing cracks. So maybe its not off topic....

klondike, I always use the search b4 i post, but that's why i'm posting. I've read all the threads on Conflict Desert Storm, but no referrence to mouse key assignments. All I found was keyboard problems due to outdated USB drivers for periphs attached, DX9 probs, etc. I was wondering if anyone had the same problem with XP Pro and/or if anyone tried hacking the default.key file. I figured this was a general forum for such questions as I have read many like this sans the OT designation. I also have the cracked executable for this installed, hence the appropriate-ness of the question. I've done my homework, and I know how forums are run. The question was not off-topic in even a remote sense. I figure either you have something to add or you don't post at all. With no replies to my original, I would have looked elsewhere...no biggie. I guess some just have to bark. Thanks anyway.

The question IS off topic becuase it isn't a crack problem.

Do you understand now. And yes I always move people to the search button. and my name is Krondike not Klondike.

And sorry for barking but we don't know you mouse. You didn't specific write you tech data. That's very usefull to us. And have you tried to use the origina cd. And have you update the game and much much more... can you tell what you tried to do!
