Im new, please help

Hi, Im new here and i also got some questions i need to get the answers, maybe you can help me.
1. I'm swapping with AR and the slide card, and it works on Tekken but I had to copy my Burnout 2 on a DVD+R. I tried to swap, but there is no action. Can u help?
2.I heard of ripping tools to make the original smaller to fit on a 700mb sized CD-R. Where can i get those kits and do i need any more programmes? I tried to get the files of my game on PC but it doesn't work. Is there a programm out to get this? And where can i get it?
3.I also heard that those tools rip the music or videos. Now i want the music still there but the videos can be ripped. Is there a universal ripper tool were i can change settings for doing that?
4.Now how do i have to burn the game, because i tried a 1:1 copy with Tekken and i didn't work, but then i used a PS2 Gen for V2, so it worked. Do i have to do this with my Burnout 2 too?

Can u also send me some information about how to do this all work, like a guide?
Thanks

ED!
People make some different rips but most usually take out the video, and in some cases (SSX3) the audio is SO large that has to go too.

BTW you will need a original dvd game with a larger TOC than the dvd+r backup you are trying to boot when using AR. This info is covered in charlies backup facts, (stickies)
