Unhappy MOHAA - Odd Problem

My Medal of Honour is installed from a back-up, it installed with no errors and it loads with no errors.

Problem is that I cant start a new game, I can get into the options screen and load/save screen and into the new game screen.

However in the new game screen when I click on taining or on the first mission and try to select dificulty it doesnt respond! The game doesnt freeze, the buttons simply depress but wont do anything. Im still able to go back into the main menu and quit the game.

This also happens if I try to click on Credits in the main menu.. it wont show them.

My set up is:WinXP Pro, Nvidia Grfore Pro 2, P4 1,4Ghz, my DirX & Nvidia drivers are all upto date.

I'v never had a problem like this, any advice is greatly apreciated!

Theres different versions of MOH so that may have something to do with it.

Sounds more like a bad copy, have you tried recopying the original?

Also the game likes to contact the internet when it starts up and while you're playing single player. That has been known to hold up on firewalls. See if you can Alt-tab out. Or disconnect the internet and turn off any firewall.

Why do you think?
Most games try to access the net nowadays, some arent as covert.

MOHAA hides your firewall software asking for permission so it just hangs.

The original Mohaa dosen't hide that. I use ZoneAlarm and it's working the original ground mohaa.

Exp, Spear Head haven't tested and Break Trough I don't own. So my experiance is that is work with ZoneAlarm 4
