harddrive upgrade

Is there a harddrive upgrade tutorial that has specific harddrive reviews? I was wondering if i could put any model drive in the xbox after formatting and stuff. I want to purchase a 120 gig drive from newegg and it is a seagate model #ST3120022A 7200 rpm and stuff. I dont plan on using xbox live with this box, I have another xbox that i use to play online games. So far so good on my "upgrades" on my box. Only thing that sucks is that i have a appleX pro in my box and it is not flash upgradeable but if i need to i will send out for the x2 lite plus.
thanks for any and all help.

Nope, cache doesn't matter. And a 5400rpm vs a 7200rpm only makes a difference with heat and noise.

Seagats and thompsons are the most used, and ussually cheaper:

94USD for 7200rpm 2mb 120gb drive.
