Help: Choosing the right crack file
I'm a newbie trying to backup my first game (Battlefield 1942). When I search the game in the GameCopyWorld I got a whole list of files. In addition to different version numbers, there are also files like:
No CD/Fixed Exe/Server Fix Fixed Exe/Server Fix No CD Patch No CD Loader trainer... I've no idea which one is the right stuff. What I want is a crack file that allows me to play the backup copy in my PC. Please could anyone give me a hand and explain what the above terms (cd loader, fixed exe, patch, trainer, etc) mean. No CD/Fixed Exe/Server Fix = No cd needed to play and cracked server with lets you host games without cd-key checks.
Fixed exe/server fix = (backup)CD must be in drive or mounted as image, rest is the same as above. NoCD patch = a small fix that removes the cd-check from game exe/dll etc., allowing you to play without the cd No cd loader = a "launchprogram" that deals with cd-checks without touching the original exe (no always true) Trainer = A background program that enables cheats, features i game i.e unlimited ammo, extra weapon, level skip etc.

Try the fixed exe or nocd.
You won't need the cd then. If you want a backup crack (to use your copied cd) look for it on www.megagames.com/gcracks.html
