Unhappy

ditto on this one. getting tired of hunting for the CD every time i want to play my poker tournament.

tried cracking it, but i'm still a novice at it, and it seems to be something bigger than just a CD-check. didn't call getdrivetypeA or anything i'm used to.

thankee sai.

Probably not. There is no public generic patch nor unpacker available for Securom New. What you CAN try is Alcohol120% to make a hard disk image and mount that. Yes it takes up extra space, but in the absence of a crack it's the only thing that will work.

hrm

didn't work, tried all the generics i could find, but no love.

luckily, i have gigs and gigs of hard drive space, so the alcohol image works fine.

i'm still going to tinker with the .exe to see if i can work around it. hopefully i'll learn something.

good luck everyone.

Hey ya Rince...k i tried using alcohol on this and for some reason it doesn't want to load the games for me. i tried different settings for alcohol when making the image and same result everytime.
I have a few different drives to choose from my regular cd drive is an LG 52X,My burner is a Aopen 52/24/52 it works awesome for everything else 'cept for these darn Hoyle games. Any suggestion's would be welcome.

Thanks
