im new to ps2 backing up............
ok heres my tale, a friend has given me his SLIDE CARD AND SWAP MAGIC V 2 kit, now i have 6 full properly copied dvd back up games 5 of them i downloaded and the other 1 i backed up myself from an original.
now the ones i downloaded were all winrar archives i unrared them then i had all the folders from the orignal game so i burned most of them using nero as data discs with "none multi session" they are on datawrite red top 4x dvd-r's and 1 is on a infiniti dvdr now when i use the dvd swap magic disc then replace it with one of the dvdr's they do not play i burned them all slowly at 1x the one game i have on dvd that works is the getaway i copied this using alcohol 120% at burned it at 4x onto a datawrite red top dvdr and it plays with the swap magis perfectly! now i have col mcrae 4 on pc so ive just burned that using prassi primo dvd as a data disc at 1x i did the swap trick with my swap magic dvd then put the game in, now the border on screen went blue which means that the back up is fine then the screen went blank and just stayed like that.this game is on a cheap infinti 1x dvdr so what am i doing wrong here if anything ? whats the best program to use to burn ps2 dvd games? and is there a special way of doing it? the last point is that the swap magic discs arent supposed to play dvd rips but 20 out of about 45 rips that i have are working fine with swap magic im very frustrated can someone help me out please? thanks Lee T. |
