Making a DVD

HI

I am kinda new to the world of dvd burning ,only got my writer last week as a matter of fact.I have backed-up a few ps2 games so far ,but now i want to do something with dvd video.

I have some anime on my pc in the .avi format .I want to know how i can burn this onto a cd so that i can watch it on my ps2 or dvd player .And since it is more then 1 episodes ,how do i split them or does the player read them like tracks (in the case of music cd's).

Thanks

you're gonna need a dvd authoring program and it should be pretty self-explanitory. I use Ulead dvd movie factory 2.0 and I've had nothing but success.

There are way too many solutions to your question.

Ulead is a good option, but other prefer using 3 or 4 different applications to get the job done. My advice would be to visit http://www.dvdrhelp.com and checkout their tutorials, software and forums. You will find many answers there.

Encoding takes a long time. If I had to guess on a 25 min encoding, I would say it would take about 2 hours. Thats mainly depending on your processor and if you are multitasking.
