Hi all i dont get much chance of posting on these boards now due to the fact im very rarely home due to work.
But anyways just a few things i need to know is the silver ps2 the same model as the black 5000 series here in the uk and if so will the messiah 1.30 work in these models or is there a diference between the two?? or do i need the 1.31 messiah 2 chips for these machines.
Also where can i find the diagrams for them ? and last but not least i really need to get some chips from you charlie this time im home so do you have them in stock at the moment please reply in this thread if you have any and then i pm ya

Welcome back. For the 50000(except the US 50001) series you will need the Messiah 2 1.31. There is a small bug that requires you to boot dvd-r from standby. No biggie. If you don't have a 50000 series the 1.30 will work fine. The v9 install diagram can be seen here

The 50000 series is the v9. They look slightly different from other versions. The i-link port has been removed and there is a tiny IR sensor for the dvd remote.

I haven't got any v9s for sale and will be holding off until the new BIOS issue with v9 is sorted out.
