executer v1 probs

I have a modded xbox with the executer v1 chip. As I have the old chip I am unable to backup my new games onto my harddrive. What I would like to do is to ftp the game from the the xbox to pc, mod the game with the necessary patches then ftp it back. I do not want to burn the game to disk, just play it directly from the hdd.

I do not know if this is possible as i have the old chip. If it is could any one please tell me what software I would need?

Use Px Hdloader 1.2a. Cannot tell you where it is due to legal issues. Or modify your evox.ini and manual add games to the Hd. Read the stickys..

my original xbox is fitted with a chip so old it does not even have a name. to transfere the game to the hdd i use a app called dvd2xbox then ftp the default.xbe file over to the pc to patch. once patched i just ftp it back. i have not had any problems at all with this method.

you should be able to upgrade the bios on the mod chip using evox. that should fix it

actually I am not positive what you want to do but maybe upgrading both the bios and the dash that is on your box might fix it.

are you trying to copy games to the hdd? cause that should work with newer bios and evox dash

I do suggest that you use a program called "pheonix bios loader". It is meant for people with the softmod or older chips. It is an application that loads up hacked xbox bios, off the HDD. All u have to do is make it your default dash and it will load hacked bios, which will look for evoxdash.xbe (or whatever you want) and boot that up.

That way, your games will not need to be patched, and you can also have the extra features of the bios like eject fix.
