The version released in the UK has Securom 2.9 and many people conscider it a pain to remove. Alot easier than the Securom 4.8 that was released here in the States, though.

Somehow I think you're talking about SAFEDISK 2.90, not Securom.

Sorry - yes the German Version is SAFEDISC 2.9.
UK Version is SECUROM NEW 4. So far there is no working Crack available, that works with MP. Use the original jkmp.exe - you need a Cd Copy of the first disc. Otherwise you will receive a 'cl_packet' error. Sometimes you are sucessful in starting a map several times. If you are able to start the map on both machines, this message will never come up again. Trying a game on more than 2 machines seems to be impossible. No probs with SP. showDown |

I tried using the cracks there for the MP v1.01 but I don't get very far. It keeps erroring out.
Error: CL_ParsePacketEntities: End of Message I don't even get 2 minutes of the game before it does it. |

Well, the original Jedi Knight game's MP works over IPX and TCP, just not on game servers like gamespy or anything. I haven't tried a No-CD crack for Outcast.

Sometimes, a copy works if you use a cdrw blank for the session. That seems to confuse (fool) the protection!
