Soul Calibur problem, flickering screen

I just burned Sould Calibur (self boot) and it burned fine, but when I popped it in, when the game started, the screen is flicking and I can barely see whats on the screen. Everything loads fine but I can see a bloody thing.

Anyone know how to fix it?

at this screen move "right" on D pad one time and hit start! Viola!
