Got it from vdo-specialities.com. That guy is such an asshole! And there must be something wrong if my ps2 plays like **** when the chip is disabled. But I dunno if they're bogus.

these games will work with the no solder and flip tops but on a v6 system or lower just dose'nt work on the v7 units

Like I said in a previous post in this thread, it is a v7 protected game.

Look at this sob story he gives me:

Well out of the hundreds of systems that we have done, we never heard of
any complaints except yours.

There is no reason to turn off the chip, you just play the original.

Yes that is why there are newer versions of chips. Not complicated to
understand that.

Not all chips played everything just 1 year ago. There are many mod chip
protection schemes, and there always will be more.

You just cannot help that, new games come out everyday.

No one not even us can play everything, Like Madden 2004 cannot be
played now sad for me, cause that is what I like.

That is why you should ask here before you buy from anybody.

This guy is full of sh*t. Madden works fine, just not online with a backup.

If you are just going to buy a chip like a real Messiah 2, buy from dust2dust and have Bill of www.freedomlives.com install it. If you are looking for a new premod v7, buy from www.socalmods.com.

There is nothing at all wrong with v7 systems if you get a decent mod such as the Messiah 2, DMS3, Magic V, or Apple Pro. Most people here have a v7.

Splinter cell trick?

Hey Bighap do you think the Splinter Cell install you did to get it work on an Apple chip might work with the Freedom Fighters? The one where you open the tray as the screen appears or is that only for Splinter Cell?
