X-Box Live

My mate got his x-box chipped and asked me if i could put evo x on it, i also put dvdx on it so he could watch his dvds without resorting to buying a playback kit, anyways he was back at my door last week saying it wouldnt play dvds anymore and that i must have fuqqed it and left it with me to get it fixed. When i booted it up it went to the orig ms dash not evox and there was also a menu for 'Xbox Live' which i dont recall seeing b4. After ftping the original c drive back on to it etc etc it was back to working fine but he says he didnt mess about with any of the settings and doesnt know how the new menu (xbox live) came to be there. Anyone got a clue about how it was activated ??

he most likley hit the "go live " button on a game. my brothers have done this many times.

Damn my brother does the same thing. Everytime I've ever played a game with him he mashes buttons and doesnt stop to read sheet.
