To all that has been searching for it: i first downloaded the european upgrade. then i got the french patch. I installed the french patch, and the copy protectin went away. The only problem now is that it crashes every time i exit the census' office...

reinstall the game. Then install the local patch for your game.

And not 2 patches.

If you got plugins activated, deactivate it. It can cuase problems.

If still got problems, start the game for the beginning or contact the technical support for the game developer, for more information.
