DC-X Dreamcast

Has anyone ever heard of this Boot CD? It's called DC-X Dreamcast, says you can play import games with it. If so is it like the Utopia Boot CD that allows you to play your backups?

I bought it this weekend but don't have any backups to try.

Anyone want a copy to test?

Nope, Never heard of it, but all I can say is you got ripped. If you gave money out for a boot cd you've been had. They are distributed freely via www. And even purchasing it not knowing if it plays backups. Just download Utopia boot disc and burn it..its free. (maybe not completely free when you add the cost of a blank cd-r **about 10 cents)

Ps. I have over 60 backup games.. which only 1 requires the bootdisk. Ever since the selfboot utilities have come out boot discs are something of the past unless its for an import.

well that's just it, I could not get the Utopia Boot CD image to burn to CD and I have yet to make a successful DC Backup. I'm still new at this stuff

dc-x is only for booting imports, like jap games on eur dc´s, or vice versa. It does not work with backups, also according to ign, it´s not very stable, so i would recommend you try a little harder to find the best bootcd ever made for any console in the whole universe (atleast the parts known the human) that is UTOPIA BOOTLOAD 1.1 !
