Messiah 2 Pro Question

Does the Messiah 2 Pro have the same boot proceedures as the Magic V, Tapping reset for ps2 game and holding reset til blue lite for ps1 games and dvd's ?

Neither chip require a tab on the reset button to boot ps2 backups, they can boot from browser or just pressing eject to close the tray.
Both do require you press and hold reset till the blue eject light comes on to boot PSX backups and dvds (or better yet for dvds just turn off the chip)
