ahhh if i understand correctly some people are using a downloaded version. well i bought mine and then copied it etc. maybe thats why my game doesnt require a cd inserted when playing.
p.s. lionheart doesnt need a cd either.
p.p.s. im interested to know if the game works without cd from a normal install (no fiddling with code or installing cracks etc.) for any1 else.
p.p.p.s 1 other point, dunno if its relevant really, but a normal copy of the game using clone-cd and blindwrite copies the game. if the said game never asks for the disk after you've installed it from the copied version ,then surely its irrelevant what protection was used on the disk as the game never makes use of it.
only thing that would mess up my way of doing things would be a game that includes a protection check within the installer program itself. would mean i would need to copy the disk prefectly to install it. never had to yet tho. so im all smiles.
