Help with warcraft 3

Ok am I reading this right I have back up copies of WC3 and frozen throne.Do I have to patch both of these games to Ver 1.12 then replace the exe files with the ones from the cracks. for me to be able to play them By the way I am a neebie.thanks

When Version 1.12 is the latest version of the game, yes.
Patch the game and than apply the crack.

I don't know if you have to patch the main programm first but I am sure that the crack is at last.

thanks for your quick reply,I will try it but if there is anybody else out there to help that would be great I quess what Im trying to say is, would both games have to be upgraded to the same version 1.12 I did say I was new to this Thanks again Leanne

Why don't you go online with the original Warcraft 3 and Frozen Throne? Their is an automated update service from Blizzard.

This might sound really dumb but I dont play my games online am I missing out.My son plays this game ond his only 9.

Just try it.

Start the game. Go on to multiplayer and then internet game. Then they update automatically.

ok another dumb question If I dont play online there is no need for me to upgrade my versions (right)then if I dont upgrade do I only have to replace the exe file on warcraft 3 or on both the games last time I bother anyone Leanne

U dont have to patch both games... U just download the patch for frozen and the Reign Of Chaos Becomes 1.12 also... Now the files u need to backup are both exes (frozen.exe and warcraft.exe) and the game.exe. And to be more sure check witch file the nocd crack is going to replace

Oh and again u only need a nocd crack for the frozen not for both of them

Ok I did what people were telling me applied the patch 1.12 then chaged the exe file from the crack but it was damanged what do I do now.When you say backup the exe files how do you do that (I am only new to this)and can I reverse what I have done.Thanks Leanne
