DVD Burners

Hi guys, its me again.
I asked before for an advice on DVD Burners for backing up PS2 games. And you've been very helpful.

I did not buy anything at the moment. Here in Australia the prices are dropping fast,.

And I wanted to know if I should get a Pioneer A06 or an A05.

There is not much difference in price between the two. But I want to burn PS2 games and get them working 100 %

I await your answers.

Thanx in advance

A06 for me. I burned over 100 discs with my A04 and it is STILL going strong! I would avoid Sony, as we all know what their lasers are like don't we...

Well the ability to burn to +r is basically pointless. Save some cash and get an A05.

106 has more advantages
ie better read quality(superb) on scratched dirty disks

the reviews are out there
here the price of a05 and a06 are the same
my 105 cost me £100 and 10 cost me £105

take the 106 if prices are same over there
but 105 is still a superb drive
either will do
