This lady needs help please
I just got a mod chip installed on my son's PS. My son has Touette...etc & I want to keep the games I buy new, so I'm wanting to make copys so the new one will stay that way. Do I have to put a patch on the games I copy? I seen that some of the games have patches but I thought with a mod chip installed then i wouldn't need to. Sorry but I thought i read up on all this. Any help
Thanks alot

not that many games need to be patched i just use cdrwin to copy the game to the pc then use nero to burn the game back to cd. and the few games that do need to be patched you can just about always use a game shark code to bypass the check. i used a game shark to bypass legend of dragoons check on my magic 2 ps2 and it worked perfectly.

Use clone cd or alcohol 120 with a 100% compatable burner.

I use clone CD, for all the games I've had. I've had to patch two: Resident Evil and Bio Hazard Gun Survivor.
Other then that I've used patches on some games because they add what's called trainers, a menu loads at the beginning of a game and you can select infinite health, etc. same thing as a gameshark without the shark. |
