petechy, I just solved the problem for myself tonight. It is because all new games have a protection built into them now, due to the xbox mods being on the scene for a while now. The way to get the game working is to patch the default.xbe file in the root directory of the game. This can be done with a program called isocraxtion. It is really a great program that allows easy patching, and also allows the creation of a multi game disc. Where more then one game is on a disc, and it boots up fine. Hope this helps.
