GOOD SELF BOOT QUESTION

I have a Iomega External zip 650 burner. When I try to make a self boot of Dead or Alive 2 using the Echleon method I need to know the SCSI BUS ID# of my drive. The tutorial tells me to use CDrecord to find this. When I use the command cdrecord -scanbus in a does prompt it executes the program and is supposed to show me my drives and there numbers but it shows me nothing. What am I doing wrong? Does anyone know the number for the zip drive? Is there another way I can find it. Thanks alot.
