brute force is a no go
i ripped out the demo movies and other useless junk to make it fit onto a dvd-r. then i got the default.xbe file and changed the string: E8CAFDFFFF85C07D to E8CAFDFFFF85C0EB to bypass the media check. the file size of the iso is 4,317.25MB. but when i loaded the burned disc onto my xbox it says no disc on the evox menu at the top right corner. my bios is 4976.02. any suggestions as to why this is happening?

did you remove the folders that where there or just the demos themselves. Only delete the video files and not the folders. Also use the data burn method by Dude. It's the most relible way to back up your games.

yeah probably. I luckily never used the Iso method but from what I keep hearing it's really hit or miss....some work, some don't. I actually ripped apart the whole mess whit brute force the day it came out so I'm pretty sure all you really have to do is rip all the playibles and videos out. Defintely try data burn method and it's really best to use that. If you really need to use the ISO method then use craxtion to make your xbox Isos, it's the best damned tool out there for it.

yeah Sometime in 2004 (I work in Gamestop so for right now we have it listed as a generic date) but I'm easily gonna say it won't be out until 4th quarter 2004. It just makes a lot of sense to have it as the chirstmas release. Besides production won't be done until at least the end of first quarter and then with all the post production and then marketing and final testing? I'm definitely calling Halo 2 a chirstmas must have title for the 2004 season.

I never said that it wouldn't make a lot of money no matter when it was released. I just said that with everything they want to do with this game and all the time they;re gonna ave to spend on it it'll be chirtmas when they're ready to release it.
