if you're talking about making cd images of dreamcast backups, yes.
if you're talking about making copies of the actual retail game cd, then no. however, with the right tools you can rip the game from the gd-rom to be burned on a cd-r. |

Yes im talking about trying to make a copy of a retail game I bought. What tools/utilities can I use to rip them. Is the a procedure that someone has already writen that explains the whole process.
Thanks DaaDoctor |

to rip original gdroms you need either a coders cable,a certain yamaha cd drive flashed with a new firmware or a broadband adapter!

No you can't, because you don't have a GD reader on your PC !
The only one available is in your DreamCast. That's why you need to connect it to your PC. |

Could it be possible to use Plextors new cdr burner capable of burning 1 Gb on a 700 mb cdr to make a backup of a dcgame ?

as a newbie here as well, I'm wondering.
What are the tools necessary to hook up a DC to a PC? How much are they usually? Then after I get them, what do I need to do afterwards? Thanks in advance to anyway who can reply. |
