Can i burn EvoX to a CD-r?

Can i sucsessfully burn EvoX to a CD-r and run it properly?

Yes, but only if your XBox can read CD-R. Most do not, but some people say the Samsung and some of the Philips drives will read CD-Rs.

for some reason a large number of xbox dvd-rom drives refuse to read cd-rs. It was Microsoft's was of trying to prevent pirating in general. For example...you can't grap a copy of your original dmx cd and rip it into your xbox, you need the original.

burn evox to a cd-rw disc it should be ok and if it is not then you have not made a new coffee coaster.

I too recommend using CDRW. Although I managed to watch a divx movie via cdr and managed to rip some (some work some don't - same brand) burned trance CD's on xbox its not really recommended to use CDR, for instance my divx cd doesnt work anymore on xbox and it suddenly also has quite some scratches.

I don't know what brands are the best, also with DVDR's it seems the Xbox is picky.

so far ive moddded xboxes with:
2 Matrixes
3 Xbits

My xbox!:
-250 gig
-XBIT
-4981.06 x2
-orange led for light, matching beautifully with the orange x in the splash screen
-Component cable

my problem...solved?!:
-one of my friends says he can get about 450 files off it!... and now i havent seen him for about 4 months..and ive written him like 11 emails.. WHERE THE HELL IS HE?! :mad:
