Tron 2.0 Backup
Is it possible to split the Tron 2.0 DVD into to two volumes, which are beeing burned on two CD-Roms (~450Mb per volume). and then installing it ?
I mean isnt there an easier way then to RAR the whole files on the HD an then split it up into multiple volumes which are beeing burned on MANY more CD's. ??? Its just a question, (and YES I read the MGS 2 DVD to CD Guide, multiple times) . But I just asked myself if there isnt an easier way. PS: I think the most easiest way is to buy a 900Mb Cd-Rom and burn the whole DVD-Content (~890Mb] onto one Single CD-Rom. but my old burner does not support Roms whith that size. Can anyone help me out with that ? |

Ok, everything worked fine. I just did a working copy of Tron 2.0 with the DVD2CD Backup guide from cdkiller.
Excelent work on that one cdkiller, thanks a lot. (I think the thread can be closed, with one exception, if anyone wants to know HOW to backup the game, i will describe it.) |

tron isn't that big. u can also copy the whole cd content into a directory, rar it (split into 2 volumes), burn it. the installshield doesn't care which directory it is installed from. many demos are packed that way (converted into sfx modules). u just need 900extra mb for the temporary install files.
then u don't need the registry key since the setup creates them. hmm, for all the others who just zipped the installed content, i've created a lil tool in a free minute which creates the important reg keys (at least it should). tell me if u want it ...
