Unhappy backup help

I need creating a ps2 backup, i have tried using numerous programs: dvd decryter, alcohol 120%, nero, primodvd and I can't get it to work. The game i am backing up is Wolverine, I am using a dvd+rw to test out this back up to make sure it works before I put it on a dvd+r. I have a version 7 ps2 with a magic 3.6 chip. Can someone pleas help me?

Is this your first attempt at a DVD game backup or do you have others that you have done?

Try using RecordNow Max 4.5 and follow the guide at the top of the PS2 forum in the "stickys"

I would suggest that you do *NOT* use DVD+RW or CD+RW as they are less reflective than the +R's.
As for which program to use, thats really your choice. I use either BSGOLD5 from....

http://www.bhacorp.com/

or NERO.

In short, if you ditch the +RW's ou should find your back-ups work fine.

Not really.....

There are not very many though!

And 2 of them have successfully been backed up.....

The ones I know of are:

Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance
Xenosaga
Gran Turismo Concept 2002 Tokyo-Japan (JAP game)

I think there are a couple more but I cant think right now... (Too many beers )

The only 2 US games are Xenosaga and Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance. Both can be ripped though.

There is a rip on the net but this can't be discussed here.
