Any help would be awesome..I'm stuck !

Ok, First of I am new so half of the stuff I'll be saying will sound idiotic.
Anywayz....
This is my first time backing up a DC game.
I have been trying to backup Shenmue and have had no success... I have used everything from adaptec easy cd creator to disk juggler but all I end up getting is 2 tracks..When the CD burns the area that is burnt with info is about only 1/4 of an inch from the center when I assume it should reach the end or close (patheticly minimal) Do I have to patch ? Am I doing something wrong ? Somehow and I don't know how but I ended up burning the Utopia boot disk... Thats as far as I've gone with DC games.

BY THE WAY TO CLARIFY I HAVE BEEN USING MY LG 12X8X32 BURNER AND I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO BACKUP AN ORIGINAL SHENMUE DISC.

the only way u can make an actual copy of the game is to download it off the internet
